In my last post, I promised I would go a little deeper into my background and why I chose to make a radical change in lifestyle, eliminating all meat, wheat, and sweets (and dairy too!). Basically it boils down to this – like the 25 to 45 Million other Americans who suffer from IBS. And, like most of those, for years my symptoms were undiagnosed.
It all began about fourteen, maybe fifteen years ago and has progressively become more and more intense since. Two years ago, I could no longer drive even short distances without being in constant fear of not making it to my destination in time. I had literally a seven-minute commute to work. Seven minutes! I couldn’t even make that without arriving completely stressed out.
